- Manor Farm, Ashmore the highest village in Dorset (220m approx) the scene is representative of the conditions prevailing throughout much of this month
- Golden Cap from on the beach at Seatown, a slight fog coming off the sea reducing the visibility for most of the day
- A short distance south of Bishop's Caundle, the oldest Post Office pillar box still in public service dating from 1853
- Also near Bishop's Caundle, Fritillaria meleagris, also known as Snake's-head Fritillary or Bell-of-sodom
- Chideock (nr. Golden Cap) seen from the site of the former castle. The cross is in memory of 5 catholic priests who as an extreme consequence of religious intolerance were executed during the late 16th and early 17th century
